Case study · Real estate brokerage (houses, plots, agricultural and commercial land, rentals)
A real estate CRM with buyer–property matching for a Karur broker
Listings and buyer enquiries lived in notebooks and WhatsApp chats, and follow-ups slipped. We built a CRM, on the web and as an Android app, that records exactly what each buyer wants, matches them to properties and keeps every follow-up on a schedule.
- Client
- A property brokerage in Karur
- Where
- Karur, Tamil Nadu
- Status
- In production with the client, improved after each review
- Used by
- Agency owner, managers and agents; buyers and owners see share links
The problem
- Buyers ask for very specific things: area, budget, facing, BHK, parking, road width, frontage, and for rentals the advance and utilities. None of it was captured in one place.
- Matching buyers to properties depended on the owner's memory.
- Follow-ups and site visits were missed when agents got busy.
What we built
Properties and buyers
- Property inventory with photos, a location master that blocks duplicate areas, a plot-area calculator and a broker checklist
- Contacts and enquiries kept separate, so one buyer can have several requirements; CSV lead import
- Buyer–property matching with hard filters for area and amenities, plus near matches with the reason shown
Follow-ups and deals
- Tasks with 1, 3 and 7-day presets, reassignment, history, and 'done + schedule next' in one tap
- Deals pipeline and a dashboard with team and unassigned-lead views for the owner and managers
- Call, WhatsApp and share actions logged on the lead, with do-not-contact checks
Mobile and sharing
- Android app that saves offline and syncs later, with in-app updates
- Public share pages for a property, a buyer summary or a site visit
- English and Tamil interface; finance (invoices and expenses) included
In numbers
- 2
- Client review rounds shipped in five days (30 Oct and 3 Nov 2026)
